Building a New Legacy of Christ-Like Disciples at the Crossroads of Life.

Pastor:
Rev. Earl Dunbar
Thank you for finding our website! My name is Earl Dunbar and I welcome you to New California Presbyterian. I am honored to serve in this fast-growing community and I hope you’ll come to check us out.
I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. It was in San Diego that I heard a call to ministry soon after graduating from San Diego State University with a Business Administration degree (Major: Marketing). I stayed in San Diego for seminary studies, then it was to Chicago to finish seminary work. After seminary, I have served churches in Dearborn, MI; Duluth, MN; and Concord, NH. I have also served as an Interim Pastor in Springfield, VA (near Washington, DC), and Wilton, CT (near New York City), and North Easton, MA (near Boston).
While I was in Dearborn, I met my dear wife Marcia-Anne. We have 2 children, Jonathan (who lives in Western Michigan), and James. While we grew to love New Hampshire, we’ll be looking forward to reconnecting with the Midwest and being closer to relatives and friends in Ohio and Michigan.

Pastor Emeritus
Rev. Phil Bougher
Rev. Bougher served as the pastor from 1974-1981 and from 1986-2006. On October 4, 2009, he was presented with the title of Pastor Emeritus of the church. He served with a passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, a love of history, and a heart for the people placed in his care. He walked alongside this congregation in times of joy, and also times of heartache, speaking wisdom along the way. Phil and his wife Pat are active Covenant Partners of the church and still share their talents and wisdom with the Covenant Partners.
