October 5, 2022
What a beautiful day! We returned from Germany last night and can't wait to tell you all about the trip some day.
Today, I wanted to get you a couple of important updates and then what we have planned for Sunday.
SIMPLE DISCIPLESHIP: There's still time to order a book for our 5 week series to intentionally grow in discipleship. I'll be ordering the books next Wednesday so you still have a week. It really will be a wonderful way to intentionally grow faith where you will end up with a simple plan to grow in one area of your walk with Christ. We'll start October 20 (or another day that week if Thursdays don't work for you).
PLAIN CITY FALL FEST: New Cally will be one of the churches with a part in this year's Plain City Fall Fest. It will be Saturday, October 22 from 4-7 pm at Past Time Park. Before the 22nd, we will need some folks for a few tasks, then we will need folks to work 1/2 the event in one of two groups. Please see Brianne Ciminello for more information.
PREP FOR WORSHIP:
Text: John 4:4-26
Our Mission Statement says that we are to build a legacy of Christ-like disciples at the CROSSROADS of life. We're going to take 2 weeks and look at a couple examples of crossroad moments.
How would you describe the woman's crossroad moment?
What did Jesus do to both challenge and help her?
Any similarities about your answers to the two questions above and something that is happening in your life right now?
