Welcome to New Cally Church!
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." -Isaiah 41:10

Hi friends, from Michigan,
It's a warm evening here - kind of surprising because the last two days have been on the cooler side.
This Sunday we'll be continuing our series on Whole Life Stewardship. We've looked at our Treasures and our Testimony (language). This week we'll look at, probably the most overlooked aspect of Whole Life Stewardship . . . time.
Text: Mark 1:21-39 (if time you can read the first verses of Ecclesiastes 3).
From the text, can you tell how much time has elapsed between vs. 21 and vs. 39? What do you notice about what Jesus did and didn't do? The temptation is to respond, "well, that's Jesus. I'm different. Times are different today." What can you take away from how Jesus was a steward of the time everyone else has - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? Are you "too busy" for the Lord? How do you respond when God shows up "unannounced" with a God-type appointment?
I'll see you all Sunday. If you think of it, please pray for our oldest son, Jonathan. He is going to have a job interview in the next few days (he's awaiting word on when). He'll actually be able to stay in Holland, Michigan with this one.
See you Sunday if you're in town! Marcia-Anne and James will be with us before they head back to NH to start working on getting our house on the market.
