Good Wednesday morning.
VIDEO DEVOTIONAL: Video number 2 will be tomorrow instead of today. The first part of our 7 part Advent series is now on Facebook.
PRAISE REPORT: Our thank you notes have arrived! Yeah! Cyndee Wolfe's brother has the notes and also has given some to the Chaplain. They are both thrilled to see so many. This is a real blessing on every level.
TOMORROW NIGHT REMINDER: We are starting our Advent series tomorrow night. You can join in via Zoom or in person. BTW, if I'm not feeling up to snuff I'll be leading the lesson from home. No plans on that right now, but that's the back up plan. We start at 7, so I hope you can attend. Materials will be sent out tomorrow morning.

What conclusions can you draw about the character of God?
Are the descriptions of God here uplifting to you or creepy? How would understanding God's character help this be the former, rather than the latter?
Is your concept of God more like Santa Claus or the One described in Psalm 139? What may need to change this Advent season to lean into the latter?
